Through his project named «  Idea Globes », Sylvain Georget explores the relationship between product design and illustration. He is using illustration as a detailed story-telling element, that emphasizes the seven bronzes icons captured within the globes. Using handmade snow globes, it is depicting the chronological construction of an Idea. The globes are freezing up those design moments : from beginning till the accomplishment of a product.

With influences as diverse as product design and illustration, new meanings are crafted from both simplicity of relics and richness of details. Through the complexity and richness of the illustrations that is result of long and repetitive practice, the viewer is left with a «  mise en abyme » about fantasy of product creation.
